Made a book with AI and want to hold the real thing? This guide takes you from finished pages to a hardcover on your doormat: papergarden checks every page for print problems, you pick copies and shipping, and Lulu, a print-on-demand printer, prints your copy to order. 1. Make the book in papergarden
papergarden prints books made in papergarden: in ChatGPT, in Claude, in another assistant, or by papergarden itself. The pages are laid out for print as the book is made, so there is no file to export.
2. Pass the print check
Before a book can be ordered, papergarden checks every page: text inside the safe area and out of the fold, text readable on its picture, an even number of pages. Print check on the book page lists anything to fix; ask your assistant to fix it.
3. Choose copies and shipping
Order from the book page on papergarden.ai, or ask your assistant. Pick up to 10 copies, add the address (a gift can go straight to grandma) and choose a shipping speed. You see each option with its price and delivery estimate before you pay.
4. Pay, and Lulu prints the book
You pay on papergarden.ai; the price includes VAT. Lulu prints each copy just for you and ships the book to the address on the order.

Can I order more than 10 copies?
Yes. For more than 10 copies, email support@papergarden.ai with the book's link and the number of copies.
What if my book arrives damaged?
Email support@papergarden.ai within 30 days with a photo, and papergarden reprints the book or refunds you. Personalized books have no 14-day right of withdrawal: EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, article 16(c)) exempts goods made to the buyer's own specifications.
Can I cancel or return a book?
Each book is printed just for you, so it can't be returned. To cancel before printing starts, email support@papergarden.ai right away.
